Hello, I'm Anant!

Vision: To create a world where the power of design meets digital technology to forge a sustainable future

A globally experienced architect, planner, sustainability expert, and VDC/BIM advocate, I've planned, strategized, designed, and delivered projects of all scales, sizes, and complexities across various typologies in 15 years of my professional life.

With a master's in Integrated Sustainable Design and a bachelor's in Architecture, my core competencies lie in planning and designing sustainable buildings and infrastructure, creating & defining project and organizational strategies, and managing Integrated Project Delivery while ensuring design compliance. Collaboration and integration have always been a big part of my deliverables, alongside fostering and managing people and promoting policies and procedures for LEAN design, construction, operation and maintenance of projects.

One of my superpowers is integrating digital technologies like BIM/VDC and moving away from the orthodox way of delivering projects. My focus has always been around technology strategy and promoting the benefits of digital ways of working. I'm here to build technology-driven, sustainable communities, and not just design and construct buildings. Throughout my experience, I've overseen the production of information-rich models that contained 3D to 10D visualizations and brought together data, drawings, cost and schedules associated with different phases of a project, achieving sustainability and elevating the user experience multifold.

The Global Experience
Sustainability Sherpa

As a Sustainability Sherpa, I guide or assist individuals, organizations, and businesses in navigating the complex sustainability landscape. This includes my passion for sustainable and resilient design while helping organizations understand and adopt sustainable practices, reducing their environmental impact while complying with industry standards and regulations.

Eco Architect

Specializing as an Eco Architect empowers me to design for sustainability and resiliency and tackle the challenges of achieving net zero and carbon neutrality heads-on. This enables me to shape a functional, intelligent, sustainable future using the ‘transformative power of design’. Combining expertise in architecture with a deep understanding of ecological principles, sustainable design practices, and the application of technology helps me achieve environmental goals.

Innovative Strategist

My craving for efficiency drives me toward generation of ideas, planning scenarios, and creating forward-thinking strategies, making me an Innovative Strategist, where I have strategized and transformed over a few dozen organizations throughout my career. Whether training and mentoring organizations, or creating standards, processes, and roadmaps, I've supported organizations to be at the forefront of the technology revolution in the AECO industry. Through strategic planning and its implementation, I've enabled team members to leverage their unique skills and perspectives, encouraging creative problem-solving and adopting best practices.

Holistic Integrator

Harmonizing the interplay between people, processes, and technologies to achieve a unified objective. This involves meticulously coordinating various project elements to ensure seamless communication and collaboration among diverse teams. By fostering a collaborative environment, I help bridge gaps between departments, facilitating the smooth transfer of information and ideas. This integration optimizes workflow efficiency and cultivates a culture that values continuous learning and innovation.

Futuristic Philomath

Consistently leveraging my strengths and skills through a learning and continuous improvement mindset. With a forward-looking vision, I continuously assess and refine strategies by integrating technologies. Creating roadmaps, standards, and procedures to adapt to ever-changing scenarios is what defines me as a Futuristic Philomath. My holistic approach ensures that every stakeholder is aligned with the project's goals, ultimately driving the project toward successful completion while promoting a dynamic and adaptive organizational culture.

Living by my mantra, "The word impossible means I'm possible," I believe that every problem has a solution; it simply needs to be discovered. This mindset has driven me to create innovative solutions for challenges I encounter both professionally and personally.

Outside work, I often find myself immersed in learning and developing new concepts and designs, sometimes even planning cities in various simulation games. Away from the computer, I engage in DIY projects, ranging from carpentry and electrical work to plumbing and electronics repair. My commitment to sustainability extends to my garden, where I nurture flora, and to my community, where I contribute to landscaping efforts.

When not engaged in designing, gardening, or DIY projects, I seek inspiration outdoors by connecting with nature through activities like hiking, camping, trekking, and cycling. I also enjoy the thrill of extreme sports such as scuba diving, skiing, and kayaking, capturing these moments with my digital cameras and drones.

Beyond Work
