MASTER PLAN

INTRODUCTION

The Avenues phase-III is an extension of the prestigious Avenues project which is Kuwait’s largest shopping destination. Located in the Al Rai district of Kuwait City, the mall has been developed by Kuwaiti developers Mabanee. The Phase III comprises more than 86,000 sqm of retail space. with 5 levels (Basement 3, 2, 1, ground floor, and mezzanine floor) adding another 545 retail units in total, including 52 food and beverage outlets, anchor retail/showrooms, in-line retail shops, restaurants, warehousing, multipurpose halls, office, car parking, and services. 

THE GRAND AVENUE

The Grand Avenue has been designed to feel like an outdoor space. It takes inspiration from tree-lined boulevards and major retail centers around the world. The retail facades are a mix of European, regional, and contemporary styles whilst the transparent roof made of ETFE allows natural light penetration. Every elevation has been treated differently to give the impression of outdoor eurporean market. Facade ranges from exposed bricks and plaster finished contemporary facades to metal, wood and slass finished madern facades.

LUXURY MALL (NOW PRESTIGE MALL)

Luxury Mall houses up to 70 high-end brands, including 16 food and beverage units. The focal point of the mall is a 21m high central dome and the musical fountain. The main elevation cladding material is Portoro with real gold veins, specially imported from Italy. Other major materials used include golden metal plates, travertine (filled, polished, and honed), and Indian black granite.
